Anyone testing Christmas Eve?

Hi there, AF is due the 23rd, going to text christmas eve morning.
Does anyone want to chat along the way?
Got a busy week visiting friends and festive activities to keep my mind off it as I'm an utter POAS addict 👀

I'm technically due tomorrow but last cycle I started on day 27 so could be today. I've taken a test and obviously BFN! I feel like I've got mild cramps this morning so it's probably af on the way

@Butterflygirl23 haha, this made me chuckle a bit! So many times I thought AF was coming because of cramps but turns out I was just gassy!

I feel like I’m coming down with something today, feels a lot like a cold. Checked my app and turns out I’m only 8DPO so still a ways before I can do a reliable test. I’m so impatient.

@Butterflygirl23 my app says I’m 8 dpo today so earliest I can test is Weds. over the past few days I’ve been having intermittent spotting though, a very very very faint light brown mucus so could be a sign that AF is on her way early. I’ve just had my Mirena Coil taken out so I think my hormones are still getting regulated. When will you start testing?

It's really hard not to test isn't it, I've just brought another 2 tests 🙈

Joining! AF due on Christmas day but happy to test a day early on Christmas eve! Will be using the easy@home test strips rather than the precious FR test though...

I am 8 DPO today 😬 so nervous to test this month with potential to be either an amazing Christmas present or a miserable day with a BFN 😆 This is cycle number 9 trying for me so fully expect another BFN but trying to hold onto a little hope 🤞🏻No obvious symptoms for me at the moment.

Trying to decide whether to test on Xmas eve or Xmas morning…?!

@Butterflygirl23 not really! Only symptoms of a cold and random spotting - I promised myself I would only start testing on Weds but if I get some maybe I’ll test today?

Yes and no... I am not deliberately looking out for symptoms but similar to you whenever I feel a twinge that is where my mind goes to first! It's really hard to just keep going like you're not waiting for those horrible 2 weeks!

I got hit with the flu at the start of last week so I spent most of the week poorly so I didn't really symptom spot but I normally get really sore boobs right after ovulation leading up to AF but this time nothing at all no symptom other than bloating really bad which never normally bothers me! I spotted brown ish blood once Friday evening but not since. I don't usually spot at all, my nipples are slightly sensitive today I've noticed

I just did a test at 8DPO and it came back with a BFN. Don't worry though ladies, I've bought enough tests to go crazy at POAS!

@Milamight Will test again tomorrow at 9dpo - I think I'm probably going to go a bit testing mad but it's my first cycle TTC #1 so I figure I can go a bit overboard now and then calm down next month!

So, I took a pic of my test because I thought it might be faulty as I assumed any test lines should be closer together? But I’ve looked at other FRER tests and positive lines look in about the same positions. What do we think?

@doughyparton that looks promising! I would normally suggest caution with the FRERs as they're super bad for indents recently but your line looks like it has colour. Fingers crossed - take another test in a day or so and hopefully you'll see some progression 🤞

@doughyparton how soon after doing the test was that pic taken? If it was soon after that looks like the start of a BFP to me 🤞🏻 but like @Stillwinston said FRER can show indents if it’s after the time…I had an awful one last cycle when I looked back at the test after 30 mins. Fingers crossed this is your BFP though 🙂

@emhope pic was taken at about 4 minutes - it’s a pretty representative picture of what the line looked like from 1 minute on, apart from it appears a tiny bit pinker in real life. I’m going to hold off and wait for a couple of days now before I test again!
