Trying after HyCoSy

Hi all.

This is my first cycle since having a HyCoSy, currently ovulating and praying that the stories I've read and heard about increased fertility are true.

Any wonderful stories to share to keep me going through the next TWW.

I had mine on day 9 ish of my cycle from memory.... I didn't get pregnant that month; but did the following month. My hycosy found no blockages or anything and wasn't painful. We had been trying 14/15 cycles, best of luck! X

I had been trying for 7 months, had a hycosy and conceived my dd three days later ☺️

50/50 here - conceived DS after 2 years of trying the cycle after a hycosy. 3 years later I had high hopes that a second hycosy would help but no luck.

Currently 17 weeks pregnant with my first - 18 months of trying and then a HyCosy this August showed no blockages but seems to have made a difference! I did find it painful as it happens. Good luck xxx

Any luck OP? How was it? Currently waiting for this procedure too as been ttc for over a year with no luck. Happy to ready the positive stories but also really scared of the procedure!

@RosyappleA I literally cried when my husband had to leave but it was ok, a but uncomfortable at times but totally manageable. You'll be ok :)

Mine was Christmas Eve 2019 and I found out I was pregnant 13 March 2020 so only two cycles later after 15 months of nothing.

I tried once after and was unsuccessful, didn't try again as I found out my partner had been cheating on me for the best part of the year with multiple people! 😂😬

Thanks for the replies, it was actually surprisingly okay in the end, nothing more than a smear test. I found the speculum the worst part actually. However, tubes were open so maybe that is why.
@EnnaMc oh no! Sorry to hear that, sometimes I do wonder when things are difficult there may be a hidden meaning behind why and I shouldn’t force anything. Maybe the timing isn’t right at the very least. At least you found out before getting pregnant though. Blessing in disguise.
