Ovulation testing help please!

First month I've tracked my ovulation, I had a really faint line Sat afternoon, really dark line yesterday, and a faint line again this morning, is this normal? Does the dark line mean I was ovulating, or due to ovulate? TIA

Hi @Matildahoney

The dark line yesterday suggests ovulation within 24-36 hours so you most likely ovulated last night or today 😀

When you say dark do you mean really dark as in the same darkness or darker than the control line?

as previous poster says if it was a positive test then ovulation would happen 12-36 hours after, likely today, so definitely dtd today

@allgoodthings84 as dark as the control line yesterday. Very faint today & Sat. DTD yesterday eve, but told DP he needs to come round today too just in case. 🤞

The best times to try are before you get the dark line so if you can track your cycles and then start trying a few days before the line is due..
It takes time for the sperm to get to where they need to be so ideally you want them there when the egg is released..

@Rowen32 we DTD Fri and Sat too, so hopefully all bases are covered 🤣

Hey all, first time on here. Apologies for the essay but all your previous write ups have helped so much!
I have experienced fertility issues for years, then being diagnosed with endometriosis and having surgery to remove it last summer. My partner also had issues and has been off medication (which was affecting his problem) for just over a year now to improve towards his testosterone/sperm count/ED. 3 months into testing ovulation I miraculously fell pregnant from DTD once at peak fertility that month. However I'd been spotting for days which lead me to do a pregnancy test - BFP!!! Because of the spotting I had an early scan at what would have been the 6.5 week mark... there was no sign of a yolk etc just a thick uterus lining. Hospital assumed I got my dates wrong but I knew it could have only been that day I feel. I had bloods done and my hormone levels had dropped and later that day at 7 weeks I started to bleed and the nurse confirmed a miscarriage.I only bled for 3 days lighter than a heavy period... I had a smear test 7 days after I would have conceived (not realising I was pregnant) which is making me think could that have caused the miscarriage as there was never a sac? 2 weeks after the miscarriage the pregnancy tests are now negative and the ovulation tests are now showing peak fertility (they were negative a few days ago)... I will TTC now but has anyone experienced a situation like this? Falling pregnant in the first place was a miracle so hoping it can happen again but this time to stay! Hi ive got pcos and tracking my ovulations and periods ive not had a period since june im teying to get them back by trying to ovulate, ive done these tests 12 days ago are they positive or negative i dont know if i peaked

Hey Jen! Hope you are well🫶🏼. So I managed to fall pregnant at the end of December shortly after I wrote that post.. (second cycle after the miscarriage) I was giving up with the ovulation tests and apps as they were giving me miss signals.. I thought I missed that month as didn't get a peak date on the tests (went flashing smiley to solid) so assumed I didn't ovulate that month (I either missed it by a very short window or it didn't show on the tests) but I'm now 29 weeks pregnant which I never thought I'd get this far.. had a few complications at the start with chronic hematoma etc but don't give up❤️🫶🏼. Sending lots of 💕.
