1st Time TTC SOS

Hi everyone, about one month ago I began taking prenatals in preparation to conceive. Although I've had some longer cycle lengths in the past for the last year everything has been regular to the day. This past month was our first month TTC, I had one FRER test with a faint line at 12 DPO every test then is negative. My period is the over week late and I'm obviously not pregnant. My question is, is this concerning? Could it be my pretnals affecting my cycle delaying my period? What are the odds my first month TTC, my period is late but not pregnant? I know it could just be late and be that simple but it's unusual since I have been having regular cycles for so long. Thoughts?

What prenatals are you taking? My guess it's probably them that have delayed ovulation.

Mine was late first month TTC, I wasn’t pregnant. Someone here suggested it was anxiety and stress about the whole thing. Seemed like a massive coincidence to me, but I wasn’t pregnant

I'm taking smarty pants prenatal, someone else suggested stress...I have ovulation test strips but since my period has still not come, any idea when do I start testing for LH?

sounds like it could be prenatals effecting hormones. I tried conceive plus pills for a few months and it shortened my cycles drastically … hormones can be so temperamental.

a week late … take another pregnancy test in a couple of days? Could just be low hcg that’s not been detected yet.

with regards to tracking lh surge, ‘typically’ for a 28 day cycle ovulation is day 14 but no one is a robot, I usually start tracking as soon as my AF is coming to an end as I have ovulated a day after that up until two weeks after that, but I have rather irregular cycles so always fun and games trying to find LH surge
