Hi everyone,

Just looking for anyones tips or things for TTC that you find helpful?

I am TTC number 2. I fell pregnant very easily twice (first one ended in MMC sadly) but second pregnancy resulted in DS aged 1. Now heading into cycle no. 4 trying for number 2.

I track ov and have a standard 28 day cycle. When first TTC my husband took zinc, Maca root and vit d. I took vit d and CoQ10. We use pre seed around ov and follow the SMEP plan.

Is there anything else people have found useful? I have read about soy isoflavenes on cycle day 4-7 but not to take a higher than 100mg dose as it may affect ov. Has anyone taken this?

Thanks in advance for any replies 😀

Preseed and soft cup always worked for me. Try that 😊 leave the soft cup in for 12 hours x

Hi there! Thanks so much for your reply. I’ve used pre seed and fertlily cup successfully on previous pregnancies but no joy as yet. I’m reading a lot about the success of Soya Isoflavenes so might give them a go this cycle. Hoping for a BFP soon 🙂

The month i conceived I had cut out caffeine and alcohol for a month. There is some limited evidence that caffeine may affect fertility (although I was drinking several coffees a day so not just one cup of tea). Alcohol apparently increases oestrogen levels so may have some negative effect on fertility. Anyway who knows it that was the reason but I did get my first ever BFP that month.

Interesting, thanks for that. I have one coffee a day and practically zero alcohol- can’t face any kind of a hangover with an energetic one year old! I don’t think I drink nearly enough water at all so that’s probably something I can do this cycle. Thanks again!
