Loss at 24 weeks

Hi Girls,
im not sure if this is the right place to post this. I was told yesterday that my baby doesn’t have a heartbeat, and i was given tablet to start the labour. 24+2 today, waiting for him to be stillborn :(

we tried for 5 years and conceived on first cycle of clomid.

Im wondering has anyone gone through similar experience?
How long do we have to wait to start TTC again? I just feel like that will be the only thing that will keep me sane.
How long did it take to conceive after stillbirth?

I still can’t believe what has happened, this baby was so so wanted and loved already.

@AnnMii I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I haven't had any experience with a stillbirth I just didn't want to read your post and not say anything.

Yes I have, at 20 weeks. I am so so sorry.

It's devastating.

Sands were a great help, they provided a box we could bring him home in, we buried him at home but I don't know if you can do that at 24 weeks.

The delivery was fine in itself. Very upsetting though of course.

We got pregnant straight away (two months later) and I now have a 9 year old. I believe you are particularly fertile after pregnancy, I certainly was.

I haven't experienced a loss but just wanted to send you a hug x

Still born boy at 16 weeks - started trying straight away age 40 (had other children) - pregnant with twin boys very shortly after (ie 2 months later as per purplepencilcase) - who are now gigantic 26 year olds despite being 5 weeks premature.
