Hi all,

I am new to this TTC. I found out I was pregnant last year, complete surprise definitley not planned however sadly miscarried two weeks later.

This is the first month since that I’ve actually started trying to track my cycles. I had my implant removed on the 21st of October and had my first proper period on 19th-24th November.

Can anyone tell me is this is a positive OPK? I’m not sure if the line is equally as dark as the control line. Any tips or advice on TTC would be greatly appreciated. I haven’t told any family/friends about the miscarriage other than my partner so feeling a little bit alone at the moment. This site and reading everyone’s threads makes me feel so much better, everyone is so friendly 😃

Yep that's certainly positive! Just try to relax, I know it's easier said than done, but thinking about ttc will make you uptight. Best of luck op!

@daisydoods thank you for your advice 😊 I tell myself the exact same thing but can never follow my own advice haha!

Am I right in thinking I should ovulate in the next 48 hours then? We DTD earlier this afternoon and will probably again tomorrow night (a Sunday ritual in this house haha) sorry if TMI it’s just so nice to have someone to talk to about it all!

That's right 😊 but with some people it might be earlier, so exciting!

@daisydoods fab thank you! 🤞

Hi :) good luck on your ttc journey!! It's def positive but I wouldn't say peak just yet. Maybe try and test twice a day until you find your peak from now :) xx

Chloe442 · 03/12/2022 20:23

@Flowersflowers121 thank you so much! I’ll test again in the morning then every morning/evening. I’m hoping DTD every other day will be enough. What do you think?

Yeah, I've heard that every other day is best, as sometimes every day doesn't give enough time for the sperm to regenerate properly etc! :)

I would say it’s so close to positive that it’s just been positive or about to be positive. Fir a positive it needs to be the same darkness or darker than the control line. Ovulation happens within 12-36 hours of first being positive not necessarily a peak btw. People like to catch their peak but it’s being positive you’re looking for. If you have a quick surge it’s also easy to miss when you’re first positive. Yours is so close I would say it was/is today anyway unless you have an extremely slow surge

Also every day near ovulation is absolutely fine to dtd unless your partner has issues with their sperm. It’s not needed every day though and can cause it to be more stressful which can be more harm than good

Chloe442 · 04/12/2022 10:55

@allgoodthings84 thank you so much, that makes it clearer for me haha. No known issues with my partner’s sperm so will DTD today too 😊

Hello! Can someone please tell me if this is evaporation line? I tested last night before going to bed, and in the morning it looked like this. I tested again in the morning and I saw a very faint line
