Aghhh should I test?

Disclaimer: this is lighthearted I know I have to make the decision myself.

I had IUI 10 days ago which included an HCG trigger shot. The shot has meant that I’ve not been able to test yet - as well as the fact I promised myself I would wait for the beta.

Easier said than done though isn’t it?! Now I know that the shot will probably be out of my system so I could take a home test. I know it would be better to wait for the beta but also am driving myself crazy convincing myself every symptom suggests I could be pregnant (or PMSing!!).

I’m feeling so impatient and honestly finding it quite distressing waiting, it’s affecting my work and mood generally. Maybe I’m just looking for a handhold 😅

@Alysskea I guess you could just test, hope there’s a line and then hope it gets darker everyday🫣 I’m no good at convincing anyone to hold out I don’t think I could!

This evening with the mood I’m in I wonder if that might be best - put myself out of my misery! Who knows, maybe I’ll have more willpower tomorrow. Or maybe not 🙃

Thank you for replying, it feels quite lonely right now with all this. DP is supportive but doesn’t ‘get’ it completely.
