Please give me your hints and tips!

We've been trying unsuccessfully now for almost 2 years and awaiting our referral to the fertility clinic to be picked up. As we've my wonderful SD8 who lives with us permanently and who I wouldn't be without, we won't be qualifying for any IVF but we will be having routine tests to see what, if anything, is 'wrong'. From there we will need to self fund IVF if that does become the route required to add to our family.

In the meantime we've decided to try and track ovulation by the doing LH testing everyday. So far, the lines not going darker but is there supposed to be a set time of day I'm to do it? Is it best first things or afternoon? I've read some people do it twice a day and others do it just the same time once a day.

DP and I are open to try anything to really track where I am etc as I can be irregular which doesn't help at all. I'm taking folic acid, DP and I have cut out alcohol & both making more effort with our general fitness/steps/gym including daily general vitamins and plenty of water. I did attempt to track using the Natural Cycles thermometer but I couldn't get along with it especially as no two days I wake up at the same time.

If anything worked for you, helped you track or even if you had a particular LH brand you'd recommend please share!
