Hoping for some similar experiences to ease my anxiety!
I had an emergency c section in 2020 because my DS had turned at 10cm - thanks mate! All seemed fine after.
Due to two losses TTC baby #2 this year, I had some scans where at stages of both of them they said yes we can see your c section here and all looks normal (they pointed to a shadow shape but if I'm honest I didn't know what I was meant to be looking at specifically).
I later had a private scan wirh gynaecologist and ashermans specialist Dr Lower as I suspected ashermans and he freaked at the shadow saying the thought it was fluid and he wanted to operate to repair my uterus. He booked me in for a saline sonogram. This was obviously very upsetting to hear.
I went back to my nhs hospital and shared his concerns and they said no it's just a c section scar. I don't know what to think!
My main question is, if you had a c section is there a shadow on your scan? I find it really bizarre that there can be such a differing opinion on what a normal c section scar should look like on a scan?!
