Hey ladies/parents!

Literally started trying 5 days ago after having copper coil out, but few years ago conceived from one round of unprotected shenanigans. So I'm hopeful. I do however know it can vary for every one at any time.
Anyway I just wanted to post here as I just wonder if anyone has any tips of not getting over excited or over thinking the whole thing? Can already feel myself getting way ahead of myself.

Thanks
Smile

I'm in the same position OP. It's very exciting!

So exciting but everyone keeps telling me not to expect it to happen straight away, so I'm trying to not get my hopes up just yet ha! Good luck!!

It's so exciting OP, completely understand how you feel. I had my copper coil out mid July to TTC. My sensible head was saying just to relax and how it would be lovely if it maybe happens by Christmas but it's so difficult to keep that mindset when you're excited. We were really keen so decided to OPK from the start, nothing relaxed about that approach but it helped me manage my excitement as it gave me a focus then once my peak passed I could relax and put TTC out my mind. As it happens, I was incredibly fortunate to conceive first cycle so you honestly don't know. I was feeling horrendous by 7 DPO and DH refused to believe it could mean anything, he thought I was getting ahead of myself imagining symptoms because of how excited I was. I think the best thing you can do is probably to keep busy and distracted, otherwise I'd have spent all my waking time on the conception boards and wishing each day away for the next test.

Thanks for the reply! Congratulations!
I think we just started trying at the end of my ovulation, however I don't know how accurate Flow app is for that and also I'm irregular so could be majorly off anyway. Who knows.
Totally know what you mean! I've felt different in myself last few days, but I'm trying not to think too much into it as it's way to early to tell, did joke about it to OH to see his reaction though and it was the same - 'too early, don't be silly' 😂
Time will tell! Difficult when you've wanted something for so long eh! I really do feel for those who struggle! X

I’m in the same boat so I feel your pain! I’m trying not to dwell on it but man it’s so hard! :-)
I also conceived 3 years ago from a one off shenanigan so like you say, it’s hard not to get your hopes up but I know it may take a while, just hoping it’s not too difficult :-) how are you feeling today?
AF is due for me next Tuesday so I’m just waiting till next week at the moment to see what’s happening!

Hey, sorry I didn't reply sooner!
I'm having symptoms but m not sure if I'm making them up in my head lol!
Yes I got pregnant from a one of too a few years back, which wasn't the right time. So I'm hoping I have the same luck now!
It's so hard to not get excited, I feel completely restless all the time and think i will until I do a test. But I don't wanna feel that way until I conceive haha! It's so difficult! How are you?
