Hi,

So I took a test today as I've not been feeling myself and have had a lot of symptoms that I felt when I was pregnant with my boy... I can't go by dates as I came off the pill just over two weeks so I am well aware that it could be from that, its just I haven't had my withdrawal bleed yet and wanted to check more than anything as I know things can happen.

We are not actively trying to conceive yet, I came off the pill in order to regulate my cycle so that after the New Year we can maybe try properly.

So I took the test just to see and this happened (see photo) now I know the line isn't where it should be so please no hate or rude comments as I am aware. But with a second line coming up does it mean anything even if its not in the right place?

Thanks for any insight you can give me ⭐️

Can you post the normal photo? I think it's just duff cheap tests with dye pooling /a flooded test

anon1411 · 27/11/2022 14:11

Yeah of course. I've attached it below. I know I probably sound really dumb and I'm aware it's like at the end of the strip but just wanted to check with it technically still being on the strip that it doesn't mean anything. It probably is just because it's a cheap test and dye run, just the fact it came up quickly and distinctive mad eme wonder.
Ps I can see that the dye is still running in the background but since I did the test that has gone now and the two "lines" are distinct and background is completely white.
Thanks 🙂

The bit of the strip that’s sticking up, that’s usually fully down on the strip. If that was fully down would it cover that line?

could you not just do another test? I’d disregard it because it’s in the wrong place but I’d do another test anyway.

You need to do another test. That one is flooded/faulty as the line is in the wrong place, so it’s not telling us anything valid.

anon1411 · 27/11/2022 14:23

Yeah when I put it down fully it covered a small amount of it , to be fair I think you can see on the picture where its like white just on the edge before the pink bit, thats where it goes to..

I've got one left so will wait until the morning and do it with FMU as this was randomly this afternoon. It probably is just faulty, just with it being such a distinct line I wasn't sure.

Thanks lovely 😁
