Pregnant or not?

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone had a similar experience to me or may have some advice.

I had a round of IVF, transfer was 31/10 and I got a bfp on the 13/11. I went on to do another test on the 19/11 that was negative and another last night also negative. I haven't started bleeding and have to keep taking oestrogen tablets and progesterone pessaries until Wednesday next week for the 7 week scan. I'm assuming I'm not pregnant now and very upset. Had pretty much every symptom except morning sickness. My parter read something about the hook effect where there is too much hcg in your system which causes false negatives.
This can be due to twins and my partner has a lot of twins in his family and my grandad was also a twin.
Has anyone ever experienced this? Or anything similar. Praying I'm still pregnant but then thinking maybe I should just accept that I'm probably not anymore?

Have you tried testing while diluting your urine. If it is the hook effect it will give a positive. Hope it all works out for you.

Hi Baluba, thank you for your reply. No I haven't tried that, however the last test I took was in the evening so I think it would have been diluted anyway? Tbh I don't even feel pregnant now either, All symptoms have gone except sore boobs which is probably just the progesterone pessaries. I found out there's something called a missed miscarriage which could explain my situation. Again thanks so much for taking the time to reply but I think I've accepted now that the pregnancy failed x

@SGreen1 I think taking progesterone also prevents bleeding doesn’t it? It sounds like you may have had any early loss😔 I had a missed miscarriage too but my tests didn’t go negative so I know how hard it is when you have no idea somethings wrong! so sorry lovely xx
