So I have recently started TTC. I am not 100% sure when I ovulated, but think I'm roughly 11 DPO. Had a BFN today, but have the following:

  • headaches
  • tired but finding it hard to drop off at night
  • af type pains, but different feeling
  • light nausea on and off
  • the odd burning sensation in my nipples
  • usual pms symptoms are nowhere to be seen (bad skin, mood swings)
  • creamy CM

Any thoughts? Really starting to think it's all in my head 🙈🤣

As someone who TTC for years before I finally got pregnant, I had the most pregnancy symptoms in months when I wasn't pregnant!

It could be a long road or a short path but try not to obsess every month as you may very well end up very disappointed for a while. Good luck x

Ime symptom spotting becomes all too consuming.. Ttc should be fun. Chill and enjoy the <ahem> fun...
Less chance of disappointment.. Never test early for the above reason..
Move house and forget about ttc.
Worked that month-got a bfp!!

I agree with @AmyandPhilipfan
It took nearly a year for us to conceive DD and every month I had different "symptoms" that were never my usual period ones so I was convinced I was pregnant.
The month I actually was pregnant, I decided I wasn't testing early or on day period was due and just kept waiting patiently, adamant that it was going to come. I had sore boobs which was my only symptom and on day 5 of no period I tested and was pregnant.
It's easier said than done but try and relax and don't symptom spot. I found the relaxing and just going with it really helped.
Oh, also the month I conceived I thought we'd missed the window of ovulation as we'd only DTD once and right at the end of my ovulation window but that's all it took apparently!

Same lilroo- one time only that month and I never thought I would be pregnant so I didn't test until I was late by a full week, and only did that so I wouldn't start to have the old 'well I suppose it's possible' false hope creep in! And then I was! I took 5 tests and made a doctors appointment to ask if it could be anything else as I had tried for 9 years with nothing and by then I didn't believe I could get pregnant!
