Testing when period is close to ovulation

Asking another question. First time Trying since my miscarriage 3 months ago - the ovulation tests say I ovulated on the 14th of this month, but my period is due on the 24th. Surely it will be too early to test when my period arrives since its a short time.

How do you know your period is due on 24th? How long is your luteal phase?

Because I'm a regular 28 day cycle. Its always been.

Your luteal phase should always be the same so if you ovulated later or earlier one month then your period will be later or earlier too. If your Luteal phase is always 9 days and your period doesn’t come then it’s likely that you’re pregnant. So it all depends on whether your luteal phase is always 9 days or if you ovulated later than usydd as l this month
