What time do you test for ovulation?

Just that really! I'd have expected a positive opk by now as im supposed to ovulate tomorrow (according to my Flo app)

I've tested around lunch time for the last 3 days and no where near a positive. Is it worth double testing in the evening perhaps?

Oh and on what day do you all stop testing? If you don't get a positive?

Heyyy I tend to test a couple of times in the afternoon and before I go to bed when I am nearing ovulation (days 11-15). Mine are negative until they just arenmt.. i definately don’t see much of a gradual surge it’s low then its High , Peak and then low again…. I’ve gound the cb ones good too as can use first morning wee and dont have to worry about diluted wee at 6pm or holding !!!

what I would say is flo says I ovulate a day or so earlier than I actually do xxxx if flo says tomorrow if you’re like me should see it starting to peak tomorrow eve with ovulation the next day xxx

I would recommend the clear blue once’s that show you when you’re starting to peak and then at peak ovulation and I always tested in the morning time xx

If you only test once a day, it’s possible you could miss your surge if it’s short.
Twice a day (morning and evening) should be fine though.

Do you know about the other signs you can look for like EWCM? They can be a really good indicator that you’ll shortly test positive. I tend to be guided by this and then use the tests to confirm.

I did another test at around 8.30pm and it's getting more positive so hopefully by tomorrow, it'll be as dark as the control 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

When I started OPKs I tested mid/late morning, or when I got home from work on days I couldn’t work from home.
One morning I felt different so I decided to test 7am before work and it came back blazing positive but it had faded by evening.
I’ve tried out testing at different times, and actually found 7/8am to be the most reliable for me.

This is my test with second wee of the day. Would this be classed as a positive opk? Thanks!! Xx

@overthinkersanonnymus heyy! Suggest you download the premom app and you can take a picture of the test and it will give you a reading !! You’ll neeed to track it later today see if it gets stronger/ load all onto the app and then the app will confirm peak ! :)

Bloody hell!! I'm having ovulation pains and I'm stuck in the office 😩😩

I'll give it another go tonight but my little egg will probably be gone by then ☹️. How annoying!!

I use the cheapo strips and test 2-3x a day from days 11-18 until I catch it (using Natural Cycles as contraception). 90% of the time my peak is 4-8pm on day 14 but sometimes between days 11-18 if that helps! 28-32 day cycle depending on O day
