Been on the pill and have had some breaks from it. When I do come off the pill I don't have a period at all. Does this happen to anyone else????

could you have pcos? It sounds like my friend she only has"Periods" when they are hormone induced.

How long are you having for breaks? It can take up to three months for your period to return. NB if you are trying to conceive taking the pill probably won't help you much

I had the same thing. I was on the pill for about 5 years, then came off and had no periods after about 6-8 months. I went to GP, and found to have high FSH levels and cysts on ovaries.

Go to your GP ask for blood tests and get a drug (cant remember the name) that should start a bleed, then you have to wait and see if they start again on their own. I did this twice with no luck, then had the scan to check tubes were working ect.

Dont worry to much though. I still got pregnant. And now they're regular. Defo sounds like a hormonal thing though.

Hope that helps
