Does this look like a pos ovulation result?

Hey! First month of TTC here. Would you say the top one was a positive ovulation result- it’s not darker but looks almost as dark. Is that as good as it gets (cheapy tests) or would it be tomorrow?

I would say it’s getting there but needs to be darker to be positive. Have you tried uploading your tests to pre mom ? It’s good for recording opks x

2nd the Premom you take a picture and upload it and it will tell you of the result is high low peak etc

Thanks!! I attempted a few times but couldn’t get it to work. Never mind. Will try the more expensive ones as they seem to be clearer (if if there’s a next time)! X

i would suggest to take 2-3 of those during the day (morning, midday, evening) once you get a second line like that. Sometimes your peek would be in the evening and if you take the test in the morning the line could already be much lighter.

fx for a positive soon!

Thanks @summerchild92, I took one the day after and it was fainter so yes - I think had I done one that eve it may have been darker! That eve I also had light cramping so I think I was ovulating.

thanks me too 🤞

Have you heard of BBT testing? Basically you take your temp first thing in the morning (literally before doing anything else) and record it in a chart - after ovulation your temp rises. It's no good at predicting ovulation like OPKs are, but it's a way to confirm that ovulation happened after the fact. I found it useful to use BBT and OPKs so I wasn't left guessing! Second the premom app, you can chart BBT in there alongside the OPKs!
