TTC after HyCosy

Hi everyone,
do you mind sharing (any) positive stories of possiibly conceiving after HyCosy/HSG?

I had the procedure a week ago and dr said while the procedure is diagnostic, it can also be therapeutic, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a siccessful outcome.

We have been ttc for a good year and a half, my DH’s SA is great and my tubes are not blocked + no cysts on my ovaries. She also said we were good to try that same cycle (saw a 16mm follicle), so we’ll see if HyCosy worked for us in a few weeks.

Anyone else with a similar story? Looking forward to hearing all about it.

As far as I know (hope I'm wrong and you get your miracle), hycosy can only be therapeutic if one of the tubes was slightly blocked and unblocked by the procedure. Best of luck, OP!

We had 13 cycles of nothing then a HyCoSy. I was pregnant on cycle 15 :)

Our problems were male factor so I imagine the HyCoSy made it easier for the sperm to swim up there? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good luck! I hope it works for you too!

I had a hsg in December and conceived January.
I'm not convinced it was the hsg that helped but you never know 🤷‍♀️
DH has low sperm count, all was good with me. The cycle we conceived was the first time we used the Fert-lily as well so it could have been down to that or just pure luck.
It took us 14 months to conceive in the end.
I hope you get your bfp soon.

@readingismycardio the procedure flushes the tubes. The contrast flew through mine normally, but perhaps it still flushed sth out, who knows. Hoping for a good outcome. :)

@TheBirdintheCave did you do anything else differently? My DH only had one SA which was okay, so we really don’t know what the deal is with us yet. 😬👀 It just isn’t happening.

@fairgame84 fingers crossed! Thank you for sharing your story!

@summerchild92 I did start taking Red Clover and Evening Primrose the month I had the HyCoSy and noticed that I got EWCM for the first time ever so that could have had something to do with it too. We made no other changes though :)
