TTC - coming off combined pill 💊!

Afternoon all!

I’ve been trying to find all sorts of info for this subject - the more, the better! I love hearing about everyone’s different experiences.

I have finally decided to come off the combined pill (Rigevidon to be exact) after being on it from the age of 16, I am now 22. I only came off it last week so it’s very early days. I just want to hear peoples experiences of coming off this pill, how long did it take for normal periods to come back? How long did it take to fall pregnant after coming off? I am in a very happy and stable relationship of 6 years so I am ready to start trying to conceive 🥰

Any advice would be wonderful ❤️

I was on this pill too 😁 I came off it in April and had my withdrawal bleed as normal and then had a normal period 4 weeks later in may. We began TTC in June and fell first shot and I'm now 22 weeks pregnant. I'm 31 as well so expected it to be longer. Good luck 😁😁😁 try and enjoy the experience xx

I was on this pill too, came off in October, withdrawal bleed as normal and then first period back on time, first cycle was 27 days. First period was lighter than I was expecting but this is either down to things still settling or my periods are just lighter now I am older (was on pill for 11 years from when I was 16).

Now in second cycle and DH and I are just enjoying ourselves and seeing what happens before we go down road of starting tracking ovulation etc in more detail 😊

@Sagittarius25 sounds like the best way to do it! Enjoy being off the pill and then start to get tracking with ovulation ☺️ Fingers crossed for the both of us x

I got pregnant before my first period. Ideally I think you’d have one for dating purposes. But I think sometimes you are very fertile as soon as you stop, then things settle down.
