Chemical pregnancy?

Hello, first time poster and first pregnancy here and I’m really hoping some of you share your wisdom!

I got a BFP on Friday (4/11/22) on a FRER at 14dpo, I felt the line was a bit faint for 14dpo especially using FMU and so did my partner.
I then got a second BFP on a CB digital dating me at 1-2 weeks (again I thought I should probably be 2-3 weeks, but this wasn’t FMU although I tried to use as concentrated urine as possible). Tested as AF was 1 day late (experienced brown spotting 10-11dpo) and I felt nauseous, change in breasts/nipples).

Fast forward to today (Sunday 6/11/22) and in the early hours of the morning I had faint pink bleeding, which has continued through the day and I’m now getting brown spotting with red spots through it (?I hope this makes sense). I took another FRER and the positive line is fainter than Fridays.

I’m experiencing some cramps not dissimilar to regular AF cramps and I feel like a lot of my symptoms have gone (although I’m sure that could just be in my head).

Can any of you share your experiences? Does this sound like the way a chemical pregnancy would progress? And how long does an early miscarriage last - the same as AF?

We go on holiday later in the week and I feel like I would just rather know one way or the other before I go 😩

I had a chemical 3 weeks ago so this is just my experience

on 12 dpo (day before AF due) I had a very faint line on a cheapie and decided to wait until 2 days later to test again (14dpo)

the line on 14dpo was a very obvious line (on a frer) but 48 hours later on 16dpo the test was no darker so I knew what was coming. On 17dpo the line was so faint I would have called it a squinter then nearly a week after I got my BFP I started to bleed

my bleed was very very heavy on the first day, I had to leave work early as was just a lot of blood but after that it was the same as my normal period and lasted the same amount of time. I also ovulated within the same timeframe I usually do (on the last day of my normal). I’m now 6dpo.

it was so hard emotionally at the time as we were on cycle 5 but I think it’s helped that my body seems to have bounced back to normal right away 🤞 and at least I know I can get pregnant still

I really hope it’s not a chemical that you’re having and if it is that it’s over quickly so you can enjoy your holiday more than you would not knowing

@Kerra12 Hi op, I hope things worked out in the end for you…please could you update if you don’t mind?
I tested bfp twice last week, had all the symptoms but then today I’ve just felt off & had a constant pain in my left lower abdomen abit more intense than AF pains. I felt the need to take another test tonight and got a bfn 😢😢 I’ve not had any spotting or brown discharge at all in the last week and I just don’t know what to expect now 😢 x

I ended up going to A&E that night as I had a bit of abdominal pain and am a chronic worrier and convinced myself I was having an ectopic. Had bloods done and an abdominal scan which showed nothing (as expected for my gestation), was referred to EPAGU the next day for a transvaginal examination which was again inconclusive. Had bloods done 48 hours after the original set and unfortunately my hcG levels had not risen. I started bleeding more heavily a couple of days after that and had a negative pregnancy test over that weekend.
