Pcos and metformin

Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this topic so I hope here is okay.

I have pcos and I started taking metformin in March this made my periods regular (I'm not sure of the days in-between but I went from maybe having 1 or two periods every year to having a period every month). I got pregnant but unfortunately miscarried in August. I'm still taking metformin but after the miscarrage my first period was so very light it was more like discharge. I had a period after that, that was normal on the 25th September but I've not had a period since. I took a pregnancy test on the 24th October (which according to my period checker should have been the 1st day of my period) and it was negative. I'm just scared that the metformin has stopped working or worse I'll misscarry again. Has anyone else been through this or can give me advice? I'm waiting to see a gynecologist so hopefully that will help if there is a big issue why I havnt been able to carry baby to term.

I have had some symptoms, but I'm worried this is maybe me over thinking or related to something else. Feeling nausea and sore boobs.
