hello, I’m currently been ttc for over a year now. I’m 3/4 days late for period 1 app says 3 the other says 4 I had some spotting on the 21st started brown/light pink when wiping lasted 3 days then stopped I went to the loo and wiped just now and got this will post picture below. I’ve done some test had 1 positive and the rest have been negative. Had some lower stomach pains on and off for days now. Been doctors had my tummy examined to rule out eptopic. They checked for UTI all clear. If anyone can shed some light on what this could be please thank you 😊

When was your last test? What test (brand) was it? Did the GP not do a test whilst you were there?

Hello. Erm 2 days ago I believe. And I've tried and few early response, clear blue, co op, boots. I had 1 positive on clear blue but that's it and no they didn't I asked for bloods and they wouldn't until other 1-2 weeks had passed x

If you implanted on 21st (if the spotting was implantation) then by now I would have thought all tests would be a strong positive. I would do another now 2 days have passed and if it’s negative I would think it’s a chemical pregnancy unfortunately. I don’t think they tend to do bloods until 6 weeks as ectopic doesn’t show until around then and chemicals are so common. They don’t do anything if it’s less than 6 weeks unless they think there’s a need to. I really hope it’s all fine for you I know how horrible it is wondering what’s going on 💕

Hello, thank you, i think the only thing I'm clinging onto is the fact AF hasn't arrive my periods are normally like clock work. So it's very strange the only time I've missed a period was when I was pregnant with my daughter 7 years ago. and it's stressing my out more because if I'm not pregnant where an earth is my period. But doctors also said it's common for it not to know up on a test right now and that that's why there saying wait at least 2 weeks before doing another. Which to me was crazy because like you I thought it would of showed up by now I normally have a cycle of 26 days average but last month was a 24 days cycle and now im on day 31 for this cycle

I really hope it’s all ok for you 🤞 I started a chemical nearly 3 weeks ago and my tests were negative before the bleeding started. I didn’t take a test until day after my AF was due and got a bfp (on all tests) but they didn’t get darker and then got lighter then negative. I didn’t start bleeding until a week after my bfp. Only time will tell though and some people don’t get bfp right away. You could request a blood test at your gp then they do another 48 hours later to check HGC is rising enough. If you’re pregnant it will definitely show up on a blood test now so I don’t think that’s why they wouldn’t do one.

cycles can vary in length if you occasionally ovulate later for one of many reasons so it could be that you ovulated later so why not showing up on tests properly. The odd thing is that it showed up in a clear blue but no others. If it was positive on the clear blue then take another clear blue (same one as before) now 2 days have passed and it should still be positive. If the same brand and type of test was positive and now not then I would lean towards chemical. I think that will give you a quicker idea

Yeah I mean the line didn't come up straight away, sort of 10 mins or so later which is still apparently in the time frame. But I don't know could of been an evap line or whatever. It's the spotting the aches and pains in my tummy. Now this discharge never had that before it all just doesn't make sense to me 😩 I'm loosing my mind

Ah I'm so sorry your going through that 😩 yeah they just don't seem interested in doing any bloods right now because they are saying I can still turn positive within the next 1-2 weeks yet I'm already 3/4 days late for my period. It just doesn't make any sense and then this discharge I've never had that before

If you’re not sure when you ovulated it is hard to say. I don’t think discharge like that is uncommon for pregnancy or non pregnancy it can’t tell you either way. I would carry on doing pregnancy tests every 2-3 days until AF shows up or you get a bfp

I'm not 100% sure no but if the spotting was implantation it would had to have been before then. Or maybe that wasn't implantation and AF just don't wanna arrive and confuse me some more. Or I ovulated a lot later and the spotting was completely irrelevant and I could still be pregnant who knows it's such a head F*ck for sure 😫

Some people randomly spot near ovulation too so the spotting could have been many different things but I would guess at not implantation because if it was then tests would definitely be showing positive by now. Doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant as you may have ovulated later this cycle but I would say it wasn’t implantation

@JadeShaw94 I am in the same boat as you. 3 days late. Negative test. Feels like you are going mad doesnt?

I have had such strong symptoms, nausea, vomiting, sore boobs, cramps, discharge,I have been convinced. I know there is a chance that the hormone levels the pregnancy test look for could be low and therefore the doctors are telling you to wait. In all the reading I have been doing ( midnight googling 😂) it says to wait until a week after your period is due for best results.

I plan on checking once a week until my next period is due in December. I have made my peace it might have happened but it wasnt viable. Like a chemical I suppose but without even testing positive.

Doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant though because if you ovulated late then there’s still chance. If AF hasn’t been and you’ve not started bleeding then at the moment you’re not out. It’s just a waiting game now.
