Clearblue ovulation confusing

Help!
So for one of my cycles I used the Clearblue 4 day ovulation digital strips...
I got flashing smiling faces and then a static face between days 8 and 12..

Now using the 2 day ovulation digital strips for a closer result...and I've been testing from day 9 until day 13 and have yet to get a smiley face!!! All circles, negative!
What is going on ?

Anyone else used these tests?!
Stressing me out! Is something wrong?

Is this all in one cycle or different cycles.

Your not supposed to test after you get a static smily.

Oh sorry ..@BritishDesiGirl this is in two separate cycles.
I used the 4 day CB in last months cycle..
The 2 day CB in this months...
Haven't had a positive yet

It can happen OP. It will continue to show a circle until it detects lcg.

I noticed I got an empty circle if it was not the first wee of the day ...
I found them really good to use but defo go by first wee of the day!

@Lillybobs86 yes I'm testing in first morning wee 😀

The other Clearblue 4 day I tested last month gave me smiley faces and a static face.
No idea what's going on

I gave up with clear blue after one cycle and used the cheap easy@home along with the app. Worked for me and took away any confusion for me. My clear blue went to static the day I had a temp rise with bbt, which is too late. It means ovulation had occurred.

It could be that you ovulated later. It’s not always fixed to that day or even period, mine were typically on day18-19 but one cycle I ovulated on day 24 instead. It can happen.

Thanks @Blue2020 I'm going to look into the cheaper strips....
I doubt it would be as late as 24 for me, cycles are on average 25 days
So 10/11 I think is ovulation time
