Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

Ah I'm glad that we're on a similar schedule @Roxybabe and @JuniperandI. I honestly find this platform so supportive and it's also really lovely and reassuring to see others get their BFP.

Just because I'm already feeling like this month isn't gonna be our month (I'm not sure why but I don't feel too down about it like previous months!) I may look into OPKs. I didn't want to go down that route but it would be good to check if tge ovulation dates I get from bbt are accurate. Does anyone have any recommendations of what ones to get....there's so many on amazon!!!

I use easy@home OPK for the first time this month, it seems to have worked and pinpointed my peak even though I only tested once a day. It's cheaper and seems to work well.

I also have the Clear Blue OPK, I use it to confirm this months ovulation when I had the peak with easy@home.

CB OPK is a lot more expensive, so I only use it to confirm ovulation rather than testing every day with it.

Hey everyone! I'm 4dpo today, does anyone feel like the tww goes so fast yet so slow at the same time, one minute I'm like "wow 4dpo already!" And the next I feel like I've still got so long to go lol, I'm testing from 8dpo this cycle so I've only got another 4 days to wait!

I’m jointing in! We are ttc for baby #2 - first baby was a bit of a fluke so I’m already feeling the pressure and it’s only cycle 2. I can’t seem to figure out my peak. All of my apps are saying ovulation tomorrow but I had a super dark line on a cheaply opk Tuesday night and had severe ovulation pain yesterday with some v light cramping today. My opk this morning was lighter for sure but I’ve reached a new level of worry and is I took it around the house checking it under different lights!! I’m really glad to have a place to come to talk about it - fingers crossed for us all!

Hey ladies, sorry I'm only just catching up with the thread!

Is anyone else using the clear blue ovulation kit? Last month I had 1 flashing smiley, then straight to static.... this month I am on my 5th day of flashing 😟 wondering if its ever going to go static!

My flo app said I was due to ovulate on Monday, and I did have some pain which I thought was ovulation pain.. but who knows now!

How many days flashing smiley do you all get? And does it change each month?

I am 7dpo - having a really low day of feeling nothing and already in tears that I’m sure it’s not my month.

Third month of trying, which I know isn’t long but man did I hope I’d be a unicorn 🦄 mammas awaiting baby number 2 - did you try for a few months before conception? Xx

@Surprised90 I would think that based on your OPK results, you would be ovulating today? I read that you ovulate after your OPK peak result.

@Daisy1992 I use the CB OPK as well, but mainly use easy@home for daily checks and when it gets dark enough then I use CB OPK to confirm. Hence, I have been lucky that I have only ever got one flashy smiley before I get a solid smiley the next day.

@NarnieJoy Don't give up yet, it's not over until AF is here! I have been trying since the beginning of this year (up till October, I only used apps to track). I started using OPK last month (which ended in MC) but hopefully will help. Are you using any OPK? I find them amazing coz it takes out all the stress and guess work for me and I only need to focus on a few days rather than trying to DTD every other day which I find more stressful and tiresome.

@Daisy1992 yes I’ve always had multiple days of flashing! I always get my static in the evening with cb xx

Thanks @Kayycatt i used cb digi ov tests this month and caught my ovulation by surprise (it was quite early) but thankfully we’d been at it for 4 days before and continued on! It was a bit of a marathon. I am always nervous about how long after peak you are supposed to do it… I got peak Tuesday at 12, and then we dtd tues eve and Wednesday eve but couldn’t hack Thursday too exhausted and I was pretty sure my ovulation had come because of my cm.

@Kayycatt @ChloeN thanks for the replies. I am on my 6th cycle trying now, but only 2nd month using the clear blue kit.. I said I would dtd every day of flashing smiley, so now on 6th day 🤣 I don't want DH to get tired out before the peak! I will test in the evening too then and hope to catch the static early 🤞

Thanks @Kayycatt - I think you are right - my tests are peak again today so I’m guessing maybe I read the previous one wrong and my apps are actually right! It’s such a mind mess though isn’t it?! If this isn’t our cycle I’m thinking of looking into bbt and more sophisticated opks!

CD 16 today and according to my apps I ovulated yesterday but no temp rise this morning?? I got my peak on Monday so I should have ovulated yesterday, I guess I’ll just wait and see what my temp is tomorrow. I have also read that it can take up to 3 days for BBT to rise following ovulation which makes it really hard to pin point O day!! Ahhh I hate all the guess work!

So update from my message earlier today ... Just did another CB OPK and finally got a static smiley 🥳

@Daisy1992 I’m on my second month of using CB OPKs, but 6th cycle TTC over all as well. Last month I had 4 flashing smileys before a static and I’m now on my 4th flashing day today so expecting a static in the next day or 2 🤞

Very interesting that you and @ChloeN got your statics in the evening. I'm a bit hesitant about evening testing in case it messes things up, although I did try a test the other evening because the morning’s line looked quite dark but it was still flashing. I’ll see how it goes the next couple of days 🙂

Anyone that's currently in their TWW feeling anything? I have the worst bloated tummy and have had some sore pains today and feeling tired and a bit sick! Really praying its pregnancy and not just my period due

@ChipAndDip i think if I didn’t test in the evening I would of defo got it the next morning instead so I wouldn’t say it matters to much! Do you take much notice on the lines when you pull the test out? I can always see mine start to darken! Xxx

@Knov20 had some lower belly pain and then a little bit around my right ovary (where I assume it might be!) - I’ve also got a collection of spots on the right side of my chin as well. Tbh I’ve felt like this before so I am trying not to get my hopes up too much. How many dpo do you think you are?

@NarnieJoy I'm only 7 today! What about you? I'm wondering if it is my period but seems so early? I've also got a few spots around my neck!!!

@Knov20 I’m 7dpo too, I had lots of twingey type cramps yesterday and tonight I just feel like rubbish, I’ve had a long day at work though so could be that! Xx

@Roxybabe yours seem to stay high for a lot longer than mine! Hopefully you’ll have caught it. Try to relax, as easy as it is to say! I think sometimes being so tense from all of these calculations ends up cancelling out the good work we’ve done 🤦🏼‍♀️

yes that’s the pregnacare im on so I’ve stopped it and I’m going to take folic acid, vitamin C +B12, maca root, ashwagandha and magnesium 🙈 there’s no such thing as too many vitamins surely 😂

@BCxx yeah the last 2 months I have had 3 days of positive and before that just one, so I guess it can vary each month! I don’t think it matters as long as you catch it!

haha I’m already planning what supplement to add next month 😂

@ChloeN yes I know you’re not supposed to look at the lines, but the second line was super dark on my static smiley day last cycle so I’m looking for that again! I just did a cheeky test now when I got home and it’s still flashing but the line is getting darker so that’s something at least! Did you track this cycle?

Hello, I hope it’s okay to jump on this thread but I’m playing the symptom spotting game! I’m 6dpo today and I’ve had the strangest pulling sensation on and off all day. It isn’t in my uterus, it’s more midway down the right side of my abdomen - it feels like there’s a string tied round whatever’s there and it’s being tugged. I’ve also been tracking my heart rate and it dropped after ovulation but has started gradually rising for the last two days…I’m crossing my fingers that these are both good signs!

@Knov20 i am 7dpo! Excited to get to next week so I can test and know. Just hoping and praying

@ChipAndDip oh lol I didn’t know you weren’t meant to I always did as well🤣 yay hopefully near there🤞🏻🤞🏻 ish… I did a couple of LH strips but didn’t get much of peak but missed some, I did my first proov progesterone test at what I think is 7dpo and it was very nearly positive so think I ovulated when I thought!
