Hello all i am new here!

im 26 with a DD already who is 4. Me & my DP have decided to try for a baby. We haven’t been using any methods to track ovulation, we have simply just relied on having sex and trusting it to happen when it happens.

My periods are quite regular i should say, sometimes a bit longer or shorter, i used to always (most of the time anyway) get EWCM, during my fertile times.
But ever since we started trying, we are going into cycle 3 now as i came on my period today :(, I haven’t noticed any. First 2 cycles have been unsuccessful. I know its not always going to happen so quickly. But its still disheartening when you have lots of sex, and you DONT actually end up pregnant lol!

I shall add I’ve not been on any hormonal contraception for a while, and have actively been monitoring my cycles and periods since January.

just need to hear from some other ladies in the same agonising but exciting journey!

Hi 👋🏼 I'm currently on cycle 11 and we are TTC baby #3. We have two gorgeous girls who are 5 & 2 but I never expected to struggle this time around anc it's really been hard to get my head around. I've tried all sorts so this month is another month of just going with the flow and not thinking too much into it (easier said than done)! X

oh wow, I can’t even imagine 11 cycles with no luck! I feel silly as im only on the beginning of cycle 3 now! I really hope you get your bfp soon, do you think you could be missing your ovulation? I can’t even remember how long it took to conceive my daughter, I wasn’t trying or planning on her, but wasnt that careful im sure it was only 3 cycles i had until i got pregnant with her. Hoping it’s the same!! How long did it take for you to conceive your two other children? Xx

@Elephantrose18 It's been tough, the girls keep me busy so that helps but it's heartbreaking every single month when my period arrives. So I've taken my BBT every morning, tracked my ovulation using strips too, checked CM etc and DTD every other, every day and randomly too during fertile window. Nothing seems to have worked 😩 my first took us a year but I had been on the pill (haven't been back on it) for 10+ years and my cycles took a long time to become regular, my second we fell the first time so I guess I naively thought this time would be easy too. Have you been tracking ovulation? X
