Had unprotected sex 12 days ago...according to the flo app I had ovulated 4 days earlier however I had slight cramps on the left side which I get when I'm ovulating on the day I had sex with my partner. 3 days after this, I was very gassy and have been till yesterday, sore breasts, on and off nausea and pretty tired. Also have had very light spotting 4 days post sex which lasted for about 7 days. Period was due 3 days ago but no sign however took a pregnancy test today and its negative. Have I just got my hopes up or is it possible im positive ?

Didn't want to read and run. The symptoms sound like a possibility but also I get some of those leading up to AF as well.

Typically most see at least a faint positive by 12DPO. What sort of test did you use?

Are you tracking temperature or using the ovulation tests alongside the Flo app? If you’re not then the app actually has no idea when you’ve ovulated, it just predicts when it thinks you will based on previous months. So if you ovulated late this month, for whatever reason, the app has got no way of knowing. And if you did ovulate late then that could explain the negative pregnancy test. You’ve ovulated late, so you’re not as many days past ovulation as you’d expect.

It would be very early for pregnancy related symptoms though. I know plenty of people on here talk about nausea/sore boobs from about week 3 onwards, but I would be very surprised if it’s not wishful thinking/psychosomatic for most people.

Hopefully it’s positive for you!
