Another "Is there a line?" one

I don't know what I want the answer to be. I'm in a peculiar situation.
Probably no, but better now than never.

My period is due today. I thought I could feel it getting ready to start. I'm not even totally sure why I took the test (probably because it's the first time in my life there's a realistic chance I could be pregnant).
Taken in the evening, drank lots of water so quite diluted urine. OTOH because I thought it would be a definite negative I left the test for a while then glanced at it so definitely longer than the 5 mins recommended.

Having read the thing about so-called "evap lines", due to all the above reasons I'm thinking it's a chemical, it hasn't stuck. If there's even a line there.

Is there a very faint line? Have I gone bananas?

i think that’s positive. Give it a couple of days and if no period arrives try again first thing.

Just looked at the test again. Line darker - definitely there.

Really relieved to hear about the grinning. My statistical anomaly (complicated ivf nonsense rather than age here) is asleep in 2/3rds of our bed. I am hanging off the edge. He is 5 whole years old with a bed of his own ffs. He still makes me grin my head off. Really hope it all works out for you, whatever the outcome ends up being.
