This is my 1st month of trying since I had my first, and since I’ve stopped breastfeeding I’ve had one cycle so far which was pretty normal and what I would have expected.
Im using opks and this month got my positive opks on 18th and think I ovulated on 19th (had cramping on one side, cm was egg white). I then stopped opks from 21st as lines had gone fainter day after ovulation, and I figured that was our chance this month.
Today I’m 8dpo, and I woke up feeling really nauseous and later this afternoon got a bad headache and cramping on one side with a ‘heavy’ feeling like AF is going to drop any minute. I did an opk (or three!) in the afternoon as I thought I perhaps maybe I didn’t ovulate on the 19th and my body is trying again and they all came back super positive, like more positive than when I ovulated on the 19th. is this my body trying to ovulate again do you think, or can opks be positive when your period is due? my period should show up in about 3 days. I’ll do an opk again in the morning and track for the next few days, just wondering whether I need to get back on it with the hubs! (We did tonight just in case 😂)! If AF doesn’t appear by Monday/Tuesday I’ll do a pregnancy test anyway.
