Hi all i have been diagnosed with pcos at age of 16
Im now 21
And been TTC with bf for 3 years
Been back and forth with docs for scans etc tests
Been fighting to get any help
They said to get ivf to lose at least 6 stone
Iv managed 2 and a half stone currently losing more
I have had 3 small periods in last 3 years
I managed to get prescribed metformin i started a low dose and had tests n my ovaries still wasnt doing anything so docs upped my dose in September i got positive ovulation on the 9th of October we BD done the TTW
But period arrived yesterday 25th October
Its Been a long time since pos ovulation and a period
As I normally get a period once a year
The side effects of metformin are horrible but im willing to do what it takes to have my miracle
Wanted to knoe if anybody got pregnant using this medication?
Or continued to have a cycle each month?
I track ovulation everyday! As thats how i knee i was ovulating was tracking ovulation since starting taking metformin
Hopefully it be my time soon and this medication helps alot!
