TTC distractions - what do you do?

Hi all!

We've been trying to conceive for 7 cycles now - not long in the grand scheme of things, I know! But after one chemical pregnancy cycle 1 and no glimmer of hope since, I am increasingly getting more and more consumed/obsessed by it all, especially in the TWW.
So, I wondered what lovely things you do to try and take your mind off things?

Something I like to do is little house projects. Nothing huge, might just be a change of accessories or something like that.

Baby dust to you all x

Hi @doublewater , I can totally relate, I didn't know time had such stretchy qualities, but the TWW proved me wrong

Personally, work is a good one, as I'm usually quite invested in what I do, and the accountability you need to show at work takes (temporarily) my mind of off things. Then I plunge straight back into forums or googling symptoms, which I kind of enjoy to be honest

Otherwise, a good TV show (if you have any/enjoy them), walking outside with a podcast, or better than anything, meeting up with a girlfriend and going on coffee/tea dates, me and my friends can spend hours just chatting away, and that really makes time go faster for me!

Hi @Olegia

I'm guilty for excessive googling too! I most have exhausted most sites now.

Ah they're great ones. I enjoy running but haven't been out in a little while so I will definitely get back into that so help distract me!

@doublewater Yes, and added bonus that it releases those endorphin and feel good hormones :)

@Amand34 I'm sorry you're in the same boat. It's really rubbish, isn't it? I'm trying very hard to stay positive.

@doublewater So rubbish! I’ve started putting nice things in the diary so that when AF comes, I’ve got something to help soften the blow! Fingers crossed it happens for you soon xx

I started putting more attention in climbing carrier ladders. And planning more trips.
TTC nr 2 with gaps over 2 years now.

@doublewater I'm afraid I found ttc all consuming every time! However, in all 3 of my pregnancies I fell pregnant on cycle 8, so sending you my cycle 8 luck!!!
