How long should your peak be? 📈

Hi all, I’ve been tracking with OPKs and got my peak today, I’ve actually tested 3 times because I’m home alone, bored and obsessed 😅

My highest reading was at around 1:45pm and then at 4ish today it had come right back down. Is this normal? Does that mean I’ve ovulated already or that it will still be 24-48 hours?

I know everyone is different but googling things has made me think my levels should have stayed high for much longer? Any help appreciated!

Perfectly normal to have a very short peak. You'll probably be ovulating today, so hopefully you've been busy the last few days!

I agree with batbatbatty. Also it's good you tested 3 time or you might have missed that peak. I've had cycles where I'm neg in the morning (high reading), peak at lunch and neg in the evening so if I hadn't tested at lunch I wouldn't have known I'd peaked so I always test a few times a day if my tests are getting close.

We DTD Friday and yesterday so 🤞 will go again today just in case but poor DH has been working nights and I think he might die off!

Just to update, my very quick surge was fine and I’M PREGNANT!
