Would it be unfair?

Hi all, I’ve recently been offered a promotion which I am over the moon about but recently I came off of the pill to TTC, would it be unfair to my employers for me to carry on TTC? I know it can sometimes take some time to TTC but sometimes it happens fairly quickly but at the same time I’m 30 now and I know fertility declines slightly!

Huh? No of course not! Congrats on the promotion.

No, go for it. Wait one cycle at least so you qualify for SMP but then go for it, you don’t know how long it’ll take to get pregnant anyway

Absolutely not, go for it! Check your maternity allowance etc just so you’re clued up. And good luck! 🤞

Nope perfectly fair. You could spend ages TTC

Family comes first, enjoy having your promotion and just take TTC as it comes 😁 I'm 31 and we conceived in our first month in July and I thought it would take months because of my age so just be prepared 😂 xx

You have protected rights where it comes to pregnancy. That promotion is yours, earned fair and square, and by law, they can't factor pregnancy into that, even if you fell pregnant right now. Concentrate on TTC on the timeline that suits YOU and if it happens after your promotion then your workmates will just have to deal with it!
