Hi everyone

I'm not actively ttc but just wondering
I had my daughter 9 months ago and havnt used protection since and I havnt got pregnant me and my partner have regular sex so I was just wondering of everything is ok
After I had my son I fell pregnant wen he was 5/6 months
I had to have c sections both times due to failure to dilate when being induced
I'm just wondering if having c sections can affect your fertility
As I said not trying to get pregnant but not preventing it as we do want more children and would like them close in age I'm also 32 nearly 33 and know your fertility decreases as you get older
Ano I'm overthinking things I just cant help it as fell pregnant so easily with my 2 children
Has anyone had any problems after c sections and when would be advisable to see a doctor if been having unprotected sex and not gotten pregnant
All advice be great tia

It’s all a game of luck. Each cycle you have a 20-30% chance of getting pregnant if you dtd at the right time (and have no fertility issues). So that’s 70-80% chance you won’t get pregnant each cycle. Then every new cycle is reset so you have the same chance on say cycle 6 as you do cycle 1. It’s just like a roll of a dice really. As you are under 35 nhs won’t do anything until you’ve been properly ttc for 12 months.

I conceived my daughter without trying (just wasn’t careful a couple of times) but it took me until cycle 5 to get pregnant this time with timing it all perfectly but it didn’t stick unfortunately so I’m back to square one.

keep going you will get there and contact GP in 3 months for blood tests if not. Good luck 😊
