Hello,

I was hoping for some advise. I’m quite knew to TTC. I’ve been tracking periods for many years so I know my dates before starting. I’m always 26-28 day cycle. Today I’m day 30, I’m sure there’s some symptom spotting but I’m just getting symptoms and no sign of my period. I had cramping for the last week which is now settling. I’m having what I can only describe as tingling to breasts. They’re slightly bigger in size which is something that happens before my period but it’s just not coming! I’ve been crying today for no reason. I’m quite emotional on my period but nothing!

I’ve done pregnancy tests, even an clear blue 6 day early one and they’re all negative. I’ve done early morning urines and still all negative. I couldn’t track my ovulation as I was away on holiday so I’m not sure on the date I ovulated.

when did you guys get a positive? I’m guessing there’s not much chance I’m pregnant if I’m negative on day 30. 2 days late with my period. Just frustrating my body’s giving me these signs and nothing :/

Hey! Didn't want to read and run.

These sound like positive symptoms but obviously frustrating if you're getting negative tests... only thing you can do it keep testing and waiting.

I was very lucky and fell pregnant 2nd cycle of trying. Currently 10w5d 👍🏼❤️

I had the same symptoms and my periods were late 4 days which never happened before. My usual cycle is 28-29 days and this months it was 34 days. But all my tests came negative even the 6 days early one.

@Rosie2228 Just to say that I think I'm in quite a similar situation - as of today my AF is three days late, BFN two days ago making a total of 3 negative tests so far, nauseous, been cramping for at least a week now - not full on AF cramping, milder, and occasional sort of abdominal twitches. Hungry all the time, emotional swings and generally hormonally unsettled - also had an afternoon where I just cried the whole time for absolutely no reason whatsover. Today also twinges in my breasts, though not noticing a difference in size. No spotting, but some yellow discharge once. I feel for you because it's just so confusing when you're getting negative tests but also have symptoms. Anyway, sorry I don't have properly useful information for you but hoped it might help to know someone else was going through the same and have some company!

A friend of mine didn’t test positive until she was 4 weeks three days which would be tomorrow for me so there’s still hope! She even did the early test which showed negative the day before.

I’m so nervous! I don’t feel like AF is coming but I also feel so odd. I’ve had breast changes and now can see the veins in them and “spider veins”. I spoke with the nurse practitioner who I work with and she thinks I’ll come up positive in a few days. I suppose implantation could take 12 days so delayed results do happen!

@Rosie2228 I know what you mean - I don't remember ever feeling like this before. Interesting to know a nurse practitioner's view, thanks for sharing that. I'm planning to test again tomorrow just to see. It's all so confusing!

Thank you! 🤞

With my first child I didn’t test positive until I was about a week late on a 30 day cycle.

Clear Blue and supermarket own brand didn’t even give a result. Only a first response test gave a positive.

Rosie2228 · 21/10/2022 14:37

Thank you! Only tried clear blue so far so I’ll get a first response in the morning as I’ve heard them mentioned on here a few times.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, but to add my experience - when I started ttc my fairly regular cycle started to go haywire - I was often late, I even had one 26 day cycle followed by a 34 day one, when I'm usually solidly 29 days. It's like my body just suddenly decided to start pissing about. So hopefully you are pregnant, but be prepared to not be, and for it to be a confusing and frustrating time...

Rose2108 · 21/10/2022 14:47

Fingers crossed its good news for you!

For comparison, I had a positive the day I was due. I tested because I had all the same symptoms you have. My best advice would be to take a test first thing in the morning. Xx
