Tracking apps and/or OPKs

I'm now on cycle 5 TTC #1
So I have an app that I have tracked my period for years but I'm starting to wonder how accurate ovulation days is and my luteal phase as there is now evidence or data behind it to my specific body, it's just an app.

I also recently realised that the luteal phase can be 12-14 days not a solid 14 days.

What do you use?
OPKs and/or apps, if so which one and why?

We are currently just DTD whenever and as much as possible roughly around the fertile window but just wondering if I'm just missing the prime time!

The best app I used was Premom, you can even add photos of your opks onto it (can be any brand) and it shows if they are low, high or peak and then it uses these and all of your other information to calculate the best time to DTD.

I used Natural Cycles (it can be used to conceive as well as for contraception) you take temperature as well as OPKs - it prompts you. I’ve got pregnant quickly 3 times using this.

You really want to be aiming at the 1-3 days window before you ovulate, ideally the sperm is there waiting for the egg to be released rather than the egg coming first.

Hello! I second premom. Naff name, good app.

If you can, I recommend bbt temping. Have you looked into it at all? OPKs let you know when you're likely to obvulate, but the temp rise confirms it's actually happened. You can create a temp chart in premom or other apps.

Also having tracked for years now (before and between pregnancies) I’ve ovulated as early as day 13 and as late as day 18, despite having an almost clockwork 27-28 day cycle. You can be sure you’re ovulating smack in the middle.

I used Premom to save the easy@home opk tests. I also used fertility friend to input bbt data each morning between 5:45am-6:15am. I preferred fertilityfriend as an app so I also inputted additonal data into that- eg cm and dtd.

I used OPK's (easy@home) and apps (premom app for OPK's and flo to track in general).

I used to just track on flo but found ovulation dates were off compared to the OPK's so I just use flo for symptom tracking now
