Hi everyone,

Is the static smiley accurate!? Usually have a 35-40 cycle so I started the tests on day 14 expecting a good week of empty circle.

It went straight from empty circle (CD14) to flashing (CD15) to static (CD16)! I'm so surprised as I was sure I'm a much later ovulater with a 40 day cycle.

So my question is can the static face be wrong?!

I don't know how accurate they are. I tend to do a ClearBlue opk in the morning and then a cheapy opk strip test later in the afternoon to check. I find them both a bit confusing to be honest but they usually correlate within a day or so of each other. Occasionally I'll get a static smiley and then my cheapy peak comes a number of days later which is a bit confusing
