Clear Blue Advanced Digital - question

Hi ladies,

I’m using the CB Advanced Digital OPKs for the first time this cycle and looking for some advice.

I got my first flashing smiley this morning (yay). The instructions say you can test more than once a day when you reach high fertility. If you use these - do you start testing more often when you get a flashing smiley, or do you stick to once in the morning? Not sure whether to do another one this evening or not!

I have done both but be aware the you can get flashing smileys for longer than a couple of days my last time I got 8 days of flashing smileys works out expensive. If you have any strip opks do these in the eve until you think something might be positive then back it up with the clear blue

Agree with @mummatara I had one month with about six flashing smileys only testing once per day and this month I only got one before I got my static. I'm going back to using strip tests because the clearblue just stress me out too much .....too many days and then I've only just realized that the static smiley is 12-36 hours before ovulation so I've probs been trying too early then missing the big day (my own fault). This month I thought I was all done, did a strip test four days later and it was blazing positive

@Saribon @mummatara thank you so much for your advice! Yes I was wondering whether I might get multiple flashing smiley days so your suggestion is very sensible. I’ll pick up some strip tests and do those in the evenings instead. 😊

I only did them in the morning but used the cheap easy at home tests alongside it so I would know if it was going to fall later in the afternoon etc

I just did once in the day, the month I conceived I didn’t get a static until day 11 either! I loved our tests so much easier than the normal OPKs.

Just used them once a day personally. Got pregnant both months I used them too. Despite usually using strips.

Just updating the thread in case anyone looks back, I ended up with 4 days of flashing smileys and got a solid today on the 5th 🙂

Took this ovulation test the holder says negative but that looks positive to me I found it weird. I test all week and only got a flashing smiley for 2 days, usually I get 4 and a solid smiley and im having ovulation pain for the past 2 days. Should I treat this as a positive ?
