Coil out, ttc help.

Hello just wondering if anyone has some advice. I got my merina coil out just on the 5th just due to horrible side effects, it was put in after a miscarriage. We'd like to try again for our rainbow so not going on any other contraception.

I'd just like to know if it's silly to test right after it's out purely because I've had unprotected sex on the 6th? I was thinking test 16-20th onwards or is there 0 chance of pregnancy? How long has everyone taken to fall pregnant after the coil and was it successful?

Hey 👋 I'm not sure about testing when once its out its a pretty reliable contraception but can't hurt :)

I had my mirena out in June (a year after it run out haha) we have been trying around 5 months so far.

It was just because I had unprotected sex on the 6th so the day after it was out just wasn't sure if it's worth testing on the 16th or after!🙈. I've obviously no idea if I've ovulated or what so am not sure if it's worth it. Certainly not expected anything so it's not like am hoping so right away either.

Hi I got my coil out on the 13th September of this year TTC I have yet to bleed not even a speckle I’ve had a few stretching like cramps that feel like I have been doing sit ups and bloating but tests are all coming back negative has anyone else not bleed after removal

Hello. Currently trying for baby no. 2
Had merina coil out last week and have had cramps but no period yet.
Had merina last time and fell pregnant instantly when it was removed last time - got bfp within first month which was a huge shock as thought it would take longer. Now scared this time round that won't happen again. I say ill be relaxed about it but I know ill start to over think it all!
