Vitamins and supplements before IVF

Hello! I’m new here. Long story short, I have had a miscarriage in the last month. This was our longed for IVF baby. I’m 39 and we have 4 embryos in storage, and we can have a frozen transfer in January.

i want to improve my fitness and eat better, take some control of the things I can. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of supplements/vitamins to take in addition to folic acid? I currently take pregnacare which has the recommended dose of folic acid & vitamin D, but trying to research if there’s anything I’m missing out on.

I recently read a book called ‘it starts with an egg’ and she makes recommendations on supplements and dietary changes you can make. For the frozen cycle she mentions vit E and l-arginine, but please do enough research on these before you take any. Acupuncture might also help.

I also take pregnacare and I add additional vitamin d as most of us are deficient, so unless you know your levels are normal, additional vit d is probably a must.

Zita West has a pre ivf bundle. A bit pricey but you could find alt products with the same ingredients elsewhere.

Hi All, I have had my second round of IVF fresh cycle. First round resulted in Chemical at 8 weeks. I am really looking for advice on L' arginine. Ive read in lots of places its great for implementation. Other forums say no. Im so confused. TIA

@Estateagent33 some websites talk about l-arginine helping to thicken up thin endometrium lining. Do you know if you have a thin lining?
