Has anyone been in this position and was successful. Unfortunately had an abortion in my late 30s as I wasn’t ready and was in a relationship that I wasn’t 100 percent about

now im in a secure loving relationship I’m 40 I’ve only been TTC for a few months which no luck yet but worried about the consequences of the abortion . It was a 6week early medical abortion with no side effects. However now my periods seem heavy and ovulation pain is worse than it is in my 30s Am I panicking or I should continue trying. I’m on folic acid with vitamin D. My partner and I Eat healthy and exercise frequently

I had an abortion many years ago and then 8 years later had my son. The abortion didn't affect my fertility at all. There's only a small chance of conceiving each month, I'd keep trying. I hope it happens for you Flowers

Thank you. Mine was at 38.5 to be exact only a year and a half ago. I hope it doesn’t affect me 🙏🏾

I don't see why an abortion would affect TTC - its similar to a miscarriage in that sense.

I had an abortion 6 years before having my son and had a miscarriage 4 months before falling pregnant with him so hopefully you'll get some baby dust soon and get a positive pregnancy test.

Just to mention as well my periods completely changed after having my son, they were very light and irregular compared to before where they were very text book but I've fallen pregnant with my daughter after only one month of trying.
