Just tested my ovulation, and the lines look quite clear the both of them. Still getting negative pregnancy tests but do you think I should hold out? This LH is odd for 7DPO?

7dpo is too early to test for pregnancy

If that's a clear blue digital then the two lines aren't LH and control. They are two hormones j think oestrogen and LH. Also you can't read them like the strip tests. When I ovulated this month both lines were pale but I got my static smiley after two days of flashing smileys. You really can't read or rely on the strips used in a digital to tell you anything useful.

If it's not a digital and the lines are LH and control it still doesn't necessarily indicate pregnancy. I can sometimes have high LH just before my period. Or sometimes a few days after I've peaked ovulation. I can test any time of the month and get two faint lines every time because we always have some degree of LH in our body.

I think the few times I've seen positive ovulation tests from an early pregnant woman on forums it's been like the day before their period was due and the positive line has been blazing positive.

7dpo is probs way too early.BUT I got pregnant in July and found out way too early on like 6/7/8 DPO my dates were a bit wonky. Some strip test can detect just 10ml HCG and some people will implant just 3dpo so it is apparently scientifically possible. A midwife at the early pregnancy unit told me this because my pregnancy ended up being a chemical . She said the reason they see so many chemicals is because the tests these days are so sensitive. I actually wish I'd never found out because I went through all the disappointment and upset of a miscarriage and had I not known I'd have just thought I was having a bad period. I didn't lose much blood and the pain wasn't as bad as a miscarriage but emotionally it was hard. If you can just wait until you passed your AF date. It won't change the outcome anyway.

I really hope you are though ☺️ good luck and baby dust

Xx
