2 losses at 5 weeks

Hey, just asking some advice really and wondering how many people have been through the same thing?

To give some context, I have had three previous healthy pregnancies, resulting in three healthy children with my ex husband.

My fiance and I have decided to try for a baby. We fell pregnant straight away (exactly the same as with my previous pregnancies)
I had early pregnancy symptoms, felt pregnant, had positive tests…but suffered a loss at exactly 5 weeks.

We skipped my next cycle to give my body time to recover and tried the cycle after that. We fell pregnant straight away again, had strong symptoms, had even stronger positive tests and again have had a loss at exactly 5 weeks?!

Does anyone have any advice on this or any information tht they’ve been given if they’ve been through this? We’re absolutely heartbroken 💔 😔😔

Im sorry for your losses.
I just wanted to drop a message to say I know how an early loss feels. Hopefully you and your partner can access some testing and hopefully get your answers for full term pregnancies. Xx

I don’t have any advice ref why it’s happening but have you considered taking vital DHA and CoQ10, both of those are recommend to boost egg quality by the fertility clinic I used.

I’m so sorry for your losses, I know how it feels. I had an early loss in March, skipped April, tried again in May and the same thing happened.

However I’m now almost 11 weeks pregnant without doing anything different. Obviously still along way to go but I was convinced that something was wrong and that every pregnancy would end in an early loss, even though like you I’d had a healthy pregnancy before.

Unfortunately sometimes it can just be bad luck.

I did contact my GP who was happy to run some initial blood tests to rule certain things out - clotting disorders, thyroid issues etc.

Good luck.
