Hello, after much waiting, debating and going back and forth, we finally decided to ttc our third child this month.

Is anyone else in the same boat ttc number 3 (or any number really) and fancy some company (in between chasing our present little angels about of course 🦧🦧☺)

@Beginningless I'm there with you, ds1 had vomiting and fever, still bad today. As soon as school starts back it's constant. How are yours? Hope only dd1 got it in the end and the rest of you managed to avoid it.
Did you manage to catch your fertile time this cycle?
I'm still feeling quite relaxed but yes, your right, no matter how basic your attempt is, you do naturally hope for a bfp don't you, but i'm happy to be on a new cycle not long to wait until fertile time. I will do only 1 try again this time... I read somewhere that dtd loads makes you more likely to have a boy (which we did loads both times) and dtd less is more likely girl, it's probably nonsense and if nothing happens after a few months I will increase but I thought well i've nothing to loose in trying it out 😊

@Golaz How are you with your cold now? Did you get your peak smiley at the right time? Hope you did

Does anyone else still get a bit of fear sometimes "oh my goodness 3 kids, what am I doing?" lol I have felt that especially with sickness in the house then I imagine the newborn phase and 3 playing together and i'm sold on 3 again 😂

Oh wow that’s a coincidence the pukes in your house too. It’s been a bit grim, dd2 was sick last night and I’ve had diarrhoea today, keep feeling sick and then feel better. I’ve felt queasy for days with it not coming to anything so hoping my body’s done most of the fighting off without needing to vom!

I ended up buying clear blue sticks and got static smiley on cd11 so dtd that day and the next. By cd 13 I felt too unwell and sticks showed surge was over. That seems quite early in the cycle, do any of you know much about that? I’ve always felt I ovulate earlier than my app says due to on cd14 though.

We decided with the school thing that a month before was better than bang on the same week, so this month is in and we may wrangle about it again next month!

Yes I do get the fear sometimes…we actually brought a puppy home this weekend! It’s been full on between the illness and him learning to toilet outside. My hands are all hacks from scrubbing pee and puke 🤢. But I have survived it all, as we mums do and I’m sure we’ll find our way with more kids. The joy he has brought the girls already is lovely, and they often tell me they want a baby so I can imagine more of the same. Again I can also imagine the stress and fights and drama but I guess the trick is to accept that as part of the rich tapestry of family life??!

@Beginningless Oh no, I'm sorry you have it a bit too and dd2. So hard to look after sick children when you are unwell yourself. Has it got any worse?

Still only ds1 has it... so far, it does seem to be going around, I have heard quite a few having it in ds school and in my dh work and the main symptoms seem to be the high temp and vomiting.

Do you mean does anyone know about Ovulating earlier than normal? I'm not sure about timings for ov day or what is the best range, but I know Luteal phase matters, if that is an ok length then it's a good sign.

Aw, how amazing, what did you get? I bet they are over the moon with it.
Yes my ds1 asks all the time for a baby too, I imagine older siblings will be so soft and sweet around a new baby... well I hope anyway lol.

Hoping for you that this is your month and then you won't need to worry about skipping next month

Exactly we find our way... a while back, all 4 of us got really sick and it was contagious so I couldn't have anyone over to help, I felt really really bad but I carried on looking after everyone else and after we were better I felt good because I knew if I got through that, and took care of everyone despite how bad I was, then I feel I can do anything. It maybe sounds silly but it made me feel differently in a good way 🙂 so yes on hard days it's good to think that way
