Clear blue digital question

Just wondered if there were any other curious people who had taken apart a clear blue digital (the early one, not the how many weeks) who could help me please?

i’m 10dpo, first Letrozole cycle and although it says not pregnant.. is the control line supposed to be that light/ so close to the urine strip?

everything that I read states digitals always have 2 lines etc so I’m just confused and would be grateful for any help!

I googled this once because after blood work confirming my pregnancy and like 20 lines tests (all positive, what can I say, I'm a lunatic) I had one box that had a digital and I took it for shits and giggles. Big fat NOT pregnant... I had to take a handful of more lines tests that night until I was able to calm myself down.. Some sources on the internet says that there will be two lines on the strip irrespective of positive or negative result, but some say that they only had two lines when positive, one when negative... It confused me terribly as well but may I suggest you doing a line test because in my experience (the whole ONE digital test I have ever taken in my life) the digital did not work for me and I would have been 6-7 weeks when I took it... I can't remember exactly... Hoping for good news for you!

Thank you for replying! I went to boots today and they only had these ones so I shall order some ‘normal’ tests online and try again.. the lunacy is scarily real isn’t it- the amount of time I’ve spent today on looking at YouTube vids opening digital clear blue tests 😔🙄

I think the line test may be more sensitive than digital. I know the digital says it is early detention (as was the one I took) but it did not pick up my pregnancy.. I spent two whole days youtubing digital tests and scouring forums for an explanation. If AF hasn't yet come then don't count yourself out, I read that the digitals aren't as sensitive for faint traces of hCG... Hoping for a big fat positive for you!!!

@Elleros19 if I'm not mistaken, from what I can find on the internet, I do not have a lot of experience with the digitals, but the control line (the line most prominent on your strip) is closest to the tiny hole, which is the hole used to secure the strip inside the casing.. The pregnancy line should be on the other side of that control line and I don't see anything, I even inverted the photo, which I will attach... Hope someone with more experience with these can come along to correct me if I'm mistaken

I believe the florescing line is the control line and I don't see a second one.. Keeping fingers crossed for you that it's early and you get a positive result!

The control line at the top was really dark until I pulled the test apart but I’m sure there’s a second line under just faint?

I see what your saying though.. that second line may be the control line.. I’m so confused.

@Elleros19 is this where you see the faint line... I turned my blue light shield off, the shield makes everything kinda orange 🙄 can't believe I forgot to turn it off before...

The digitals can't be wonky very early on and I think you maybe try a line test and then upload it so we can see if tweaking helps at all because there can be conflicting advice as to whether digitals always show two lines or only when pregnancy is detected. My digital read not pregnant so I busted it up because I knew I was and there was two lines so idk if the test was wrong itself or the digital just didn't read the results correctly...

Wow! Thanks for helping! The reason why I actually did this was because I had such strong lines for 5 days on the the clear blue ovulation stick.

@Elleros19 I think you should retest with line tests depending on how many PDO you are and update us. The digital one didnt work for me and I had already seen a dr, had blood work and two ultrasounds lol

That was 4 days ago and it’s still the same! Strange if I’m not. Never had that before. Thank you for your help :)

@Elleros19 there is something quite um, different, I'll say, about my body because ovulation sticks never worked for me... Ever... Either that's or I wasn't ovulating which intrigues me because the month we stopped trying, stopped tracking etc I got a BFP... I used to track ovulation using the old fashion method of temping and CM observation and the month we got pregnant, we had so much going on that we were only able to 'liaise' once that cycle, and it was SEVEN days before I even ovulated. I recognized the signs of ovulation etc but thought since we'd only had sex once that cycle a week before hand that we would definitely not get pregnant that cycle (which we had come to terms with after 3 MCs)... Imagine my surprise when my husband told me I was pregnant.. I took a test and he was correct🤦🤦 I'm learning that anything can happen really so I'm hoping for you to get good news ❤

I’ve found a better image because it was a Live Photo! Does it pick anything up now? :) I do agree it does look at a slant but thought I’d check.

I definitely see a line in each of these photos. Are they the same strip? One is obviously dark but I can see the faintness on the lighter line...

Alas, from everything I've found, the lines on a digital area pretty standard and not an indication of pregnancy (I've spent the last hour scouring for info about this). That doesn't mean you ladies are out this month, I suggest you start using line tests and big amounts of baby dust for you both❤
