Pregnancy after miscarriage

Hey everyone

just over 3 weeks ago I had a miscarriage I was very early on very upset and emotionally draining and felt very much like a heavy period stopped bleeding after 4 days and got a negative test just a week after.

Today I have just tested as had sore breasts, Lower ache in back and just had a feeling. Pregnancy test POSITIVE!

shocked scared and have no clue what’s going on, very much wanted pregnancy as TTC since stopped bleeding, I am 31. Anyone have any advice or experience on this? Thank you 😊

If you ovulated between bleeding and now, then it could of course be a new pregnancy.

Deffo a possibility!

Did you have any bloods done or preg tests to see your HCG go back down to 0?

@SunshineClouds1 yes went down to zero, all new pregnancy symptoms are now happening had a negative test also now positive today

Congratulations!

I got pregnant within last a few weeks of miscarriage (I think it was 3 weeks after and I got the positive test 4 weeks after).

The first trimester was awful with worry after that but I’m 14 weeks now and things seem to be going well.

so nice to hear other journeys..it still hasn’t sunk in and didn’t think it would be quite soon I’m happy to hear you’re doing well with baby but yea I’m excited and nervous even more so because of miscarriage 3 weeks ago, I haven’t even had a period yet so not sure how it’ll go with dating baby etc

Congratulations! I had a mc 3 weeks ago too. Its lovely to see someone with such positive news this soon afterwards. Best wishes for this pregnancy!

Happened to me I never had another period after my miscarriage and I'm now sat here with my 11 month old, could definitely be a new pregnancy!

@lizziecat1 thank you so much yes for sure it can certainly happen there is another lady on here had a miscarriage also 3 weeks ago wity a positive test after a negative. ❤️
