Hi all, we’re TTC baby number one and have been trying since June properly.

Its taken me a while to get my cycles sorted due to PCOS but have finally got on top of them!

I’ve been doing the below for the last few months
Taking preconception vitamins
Taking Inositol
Taking omega 3 fish oil
Tracking using OPKs (period always comes 2 weeks after peak give or take)

This month I’m going to force DH to start taking his Wellman vitamins too!

Does anyone have any other tips? I’m wondering about preseed and/or the fertilily cup but they’re SO expensive, and I wonder if they work or not?

I’m currently CD1!

The only thing I did different on the cycle I conceived was eating pineapple core following ovulation.

If you're interested in reading about it, give "Bromelain conception" a Google. That's the enzyme found in the core.

It's easy & cheap so nothing to lose really..

Hi @MarshmallowsOnToast I have heard of that! Is it supposed to help with implantation?

I love pineapple so will defo give that a bash! Did you eat it every day?

That's right!

It is a bit tougher than the normal flesh to eat but I know some blend them together as a smoothie. I just ate it as it is, it's not that bad!

I ate it everyday for 5 days following confirmed ovulation.

Good luck!

Are you charting your cycles with bbt? That would be my main advice as all the "apps" tell me I ovulate on CD15, I don't I ovulate CD18/19.

Hi @middleofthelittle Ah not I haven’t been yet! I do have a BBT thermometer though, just haven’t gotten round to using it! Thanks for the reminder, I will defo add this in for this month!

I would defo recommend it, even without TTC.

I use natural cycles and fertility friend, to be honest prefer FF and it is free or £20 for premium annually rather than NC is £50. Once my NC subscription ends I'm going to stick to FF.

Also find that natural cycles gives more basic information whereas FF is more detailed. Gives odds per cycle of conceiving and they have decades of comparable data. But it's totally personal choice.

Good luck 🤞🏼
