TWW - keep me company!

Morning all.

Think I'm 1 or 2dpo on my second cycle TTC #1 and I'm 34. Don't know how many times I told myself I'm going to relax this time and 'whatever will be , will be' but here I am having stared at and counted calendar days more than once this morning...

Anyone else in the tww and want to join me? Interested to know how people are feeling and keeping distracted/sane.

@Havanalily1806 i agree.. I feel so different to last month, but am I just noticing normal twinges because of the tww.

I have had the odd sharp pain today, which is then followed by a cramp. I have also not stopped burping all day, feel quite sick this eve.. Unsure if its a symptom or I ate too much haha

I refuse to test till Sunday now. I can keep seeing bfn's 🙃

Can I join in? I’m about 2DPO and technically 3 days late for AF, but my temps were low all month and then I got a surprised LH surge on CD30.
Only been ttc for 2 months but I’m hoping it’s just a really long cycle, and there’s still some hope. Out of 60 OPKs this is the first time I’ve caught my peak!

Hey, can I join in. I’m 6dpo I have a pinching feeling in my lower belly that’s about it really. I had a CP last month so I can’t wait but also dreading testing this month

Well I've just got my first vvvfl on a FRER and again on an easy@home strip 12DPO 😭

Can't get a good enough picture yet but will try when it's a bit lighter outside

I've had
Dull ache/twinges 6-7 DPO
nausea 8-12 DPO
Increase in urination 8-12
Heartburn 10DPO
Exhausted 9DPO
and my BBT has risen and remained high since 9DPO

Truly was believing I was making it all up 😅

Congratulations! If you’ve got a faint line on a FR, I’d say that’s a BFP.

My period is due 15/16. I went from a blank circle Thursday evening (22/09) to a solid smiley Friday morning (23/09) - no flashing smiley this month. DH was working away that week so whatsapped him! He was home by lunch!

I am actually hoping that having less sex will have helped, contradictory as that may sound. But we shall see. Like others, I am having ‘symptoms’ that may or may not be phantom ones: burping (and trumping been blaming cat/DS/outside) nausea and dizzy feelings.

I also stupidly tested on Friday, negative of course but convinced myself there would be something!

Hi @DandelionPockets, I'm at a similar stage to you, I'm 36, cycle 1 TTC#1, currently in the TWW, feels like such a long time! Plan at the moment is throwing myself into work, plus plenty of craft projects to try and shift my focus. Trying not to think too far ahead or anything, which I do have a tendency to do! Sending you lots of luck and baby dust.

10dpo today and another negative.. I don't think I can see another negative this month haha. Waiting for AF on the 14th and we will see if she arrives.

Hi, hope you don’t mind me joining - I am also TTC Baby #1 and have found reading through these threads make me feel much more at ease! I love seeing BFPs pop up and hope It comes for everyone soon!

I am 1 DPO today so have a long TWW ahead of me - I am going to try and not overthink but no doubt I will be whipping out those tests within a week it’s just so tempting!!

@TTCBaby12022 hi! I am also TTC #1 and I am more obsessive than I thought. I thought I would be super relaxed and chill and just wait for AF to arrive and know... 🙈 Such a fool haha this thread gives me such comfort.

What cycle are you on for baby #1?

Yep, I know the exact feeling you really aren’t alone there! It’s nice to know others are the same it makes you feel less crazy lol.

Totally agree with you I love reading everyone else’s journeys and have learnt so much from these threads this time round.

I have sadly experienced 2 miscarriages previously, and have just decided to start trying again after some time out to relax so cycle #1 for me 😊

I'm so sorry to hear about your losses, that's the hardest bit about these threads my heart aches for people who have had losses 💔

This is cycle #1. We have waited till the time is right with jobs etc, And it's now time. But everything has run through my head, from is it possible for us to conceive , what if we can't.. How long will this take.. I've had negatives this cycle and now feel silly cos I feel like I cant make a baby.. Honestly, I'm so dramatic haha I've never craved 2 lines on a test so badly 🙈 I didn't think it would be this hard to wait 2 weeks, but I want to stay positive and if AF arrives I want to see it as another chance and not a failure..

I am hoping you get a very sticky bean soon 🌈🤞🏻

Thank you, it’s another thing these threads have helped with knowing how common it is and seeing people go on to have healthy babies fills me full of hope I am feeling positive. The worry will always be there of corse but trying to stay positive.

I am glad the time is right for you both, it is such an exciting time enjoy every second of it as much as it is rather heartbreaking seeing those BFNs, your time will come and you will weirdly miss this part 😘 you are absolutely not dramatic we all have the same thoughts and worries and it’s so nice to share them on here and compare to others experiences knowing it’s not a statistic you’ve read on Google!

As I see people on here saying all the time, you are not out until AF arrives and 10 DPO is still early! Do you have any symptoms x

Ahh, stop. I'm welling up 🥺 honestly, whenever our baby decides it's time is now we will be ready. I glad. Crazy either, I've googled everything haha my husband must think I'm nuts 😂

I had the word twinges all last week, which have now stopped. I have been burping the last few days and today I haven't been able to shake a headache.. If I am not pregnant, and unfortunately I don't think it's my month, I'm ill 😂 but, one thing I did read is writing down 'symptoms' Of that tww and if AF does arrive you know what is and isn't normal.. That's really helped 😊 I'm just hoping it's taking a few days for the hgc to reach 🤞🏻

When did u get a positive last time? Are you going off of that or starting from scratch and just letting your body tell you?

It all sounds very positive to me and I will definitely be keeping my fingers crossed for you. That’s a good idea to start writing down any symptoms, it’s just really annoying as they can be so similar to AF symptoms it doesn’t make it easy for us does it!! I am sure I start imagining things too and bring twinges onto myself 😆

The last BFP was a couple of days before my expected period I can’t believe I managed to resist as long as I did! I really hope it comes for you this month - we can keep each other company throughout the wait!

I do hope so. For both of us. I am not testing now till Wednesday... I'll let you know how long I actually last haha

I’m driving myself silly with symptom spotting, not working on Friday and I know the urge to test at 9DPO is probably not going to end in anything helpful.
Not helped by the Flo app telling me “it’s time to test” for the last three days :S even though it knows I confirmed OV on the 5th!

I'm 7dpo cycle #2 ttc #1 and I'm 35.
I've had zero symptoms so far this cycle, unlike last cycle where I picked out so many things that turned out to be negative. I think I was paying attention to every little twinge and things that probably happen every cycle that I just don't notice normally. Although I havent even felt them this cycle so I'm not very confident this month has been successful. Was heart broken last cycle so just taking this one alot easier and not overthinking it to manage my disappointment. I know at my age I might have a good few cycles to go.
I hope everyone's enduring the tww OK and hopefully there will be lots of BFPs on this thread. 🧚‍♂️ ✨️

Hi everyone! I’m currently on cycle #1 trying for baby #1 and can’t believe how much of my mind is occupied thinking about TTC already..

I'm 8DPO today and got a BFN. When are you planning to test? I’m going to try and wait until the weekend to do another early response test.

AF arrived for me yesterday. The feeling is something I can't describe. I know it's only a couple months of trying, and I'm pretty sure we didn't DTD close enough to ovulation... But, I feel strange. Trying to stay positive and not let my negative thoughts take over.

I caved and tested this morning, got BFN but only 10dpo and AF hasn’t arrived yet. Had stomach cramps and backache for 3 days now, I was so sure I’d get a little line 😔
