Did anyone get pregnant whilst taking the pill?

I have been experiencing some of the symptoms of early pregnancy but I'm on the pill. I had my one week break two weeks ago and although there was some bleeding, it was less than normal. I have had a stomach virus in the past month so I thought that might have affected how well my pill has been absorbed. Has anyone gotten pregnant whilst they've been on the pill?

Hi, i am currently 23 weeks pg with number 5, and i was on the pill, there is going to be 15mths between dc4 and dc5.

I did, was on antibiotics and didn't use condom at the time.

I did first time round....DP is convinced I wasn't taking it properly, I am sure I was.

My mum said that she got pregnant with both me and my sister whilst on the pill....no idea if she was taking it properly.

I meant the first time I was pregnant, not first time I had taken pill....had been taking it for about 6 years prior to this with no pregnancies.

Thanks guys, sorry if this is too nosy but did any of you still have 'periods' before you realized you were pregnant and stopped taking it? It's that fact that I still bled on my break that has me really confused

My friend at work has just found out she is 6 weeks pregnant and she was on the pill (but she had taken antibiotics)

yes three times but wasnt very good at remembering to take it.
