Line eyes? Wishful thinking…

Hello all! To cut a long story short, I finally feel ready to TTC again after a miscarriage back in March. I'm TTC my first baby.

I haven't been tracking ovulation or anything and my periods have been a bit out of whack since I had covid just over a month ago so I don't know where in my cycle I am at the moment. What I do know is my nipples have been extremely sensitive to the point of almost painful if my clothing has rubbed against them etc, so I decided to take a test on a whim. This really was on a whim - about 30 minutes hold and this evening so what can I say 🤦🏻‍♀️ Can anyone see anything? In person I can see a bit of a shadow, but is it line eyes / wishful thinking or what?

I can’t see anything, sorry. Hopefully if you test again in a week or do you’ll get a positive result 🤞

Hi @ElleBelleLou I can see a pinky shadow but I also have line eyes atm! I’m not familiar with those tests either, do you have another brand? Would you know when your period was due?

Wishing you the best!

@SirChenjins thank you for looking!

@thelma57 I'm not sure of the brand - it's one the hospital gave me after my miscarriage to take 4 weeks later to see if it would be negative but I never ended up taking it as I was back in hospital before the 4 weeks were up. So no idea how sensitive it is or anything as the wrapper was basically blank! It's the only one I have, I don't even know what made me take it but the line eyes are major 🙈

@thelma57 I'm not sure when my period is due - normally I'm so regular and can feel when it's all coming but I had covid 6 weeks ago and my body has been all over the place since so it's just a guessing game.

I can’t see anything in the first two - but there is a shadow of something on the third one.
With my pregnancy, even after a fairly strong positive in the morning - by this time at night with only a 30 min hold it would be super faint.
Can you get hold of an early detection one for the morning??

YoSofi · 01/10/2022 20:13

I can see a shadow, and the hospital tests aren’t particularly sensitive - I had one, and they don’t want the last few hormones from a miscarriage showing up as a positive.

Try and get a First Response for the morning! 🤞

Mumtopeaxxx · 01/10/2022 20:16

Yes I looked again and I’m sure there’s something!

Hi OP so sorry I can't see anything and the third looks like an evap - but my first baby looked like an evap and the next day it was absolutely positive so I'd test again tomorrow Smile good luck!

Hi all!

My friend dropped off some internet cheapie tests last night and I took one this morning with FMU.

There's a little shadow but I'm not sure I see colour so I think it may be an indent. The test from last night definitely has colour to the line, but it could be a dodgy test.

I think my best bet is to wait a few days and test again next week. Would be a lot easier if I knew where in my cycle I am!
